Garantir d\u00e8s maintenant l\u2019adoption de plans de sortie progressive du charbon est indispensable si nous souhaitons tenir les objectifs climatiques et organiser une transition la plus juste possible. Or, notre analyse d\u00e9montre que la demande de plans de sortie formul\u00e9e par les acteurs financiers fran\u00e7ais n\u2019a clairement pas \u00e9t\u00e9 suivie d\u2019effets. Nous ne manquerons pas d\u2019analyser l&rsquo;\u00e9volution des portefeuilles de ces acteurs et de signaler d\u2019\u00e9ventuelles incoh\u00e9rences entre les paroles et les actes<\/em>\u202f\u00bb<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW213639522 BCX0\">\u00a0<strong>d\u00e9clare Lucie Pinson, directrice de Reclaim Finance<\/strong><\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW213639522 BCX0\">.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"EOP SCXW213639522 BCX0\" data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:6,&quot;335551620&quot;:6,&quot;335559740&quot;:276}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-4\"><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Parmi les clients de BNP Paribas, Cr\u00e9dit Agricole et Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale qui ont encore b\u00e9n\u00e9fici\u00e9 de nouveaux financements en 2021, on trouve par exemple des entreprises comme Glencore ou KEPCO \u2013 qui continuent \u00e0 se d\u00e9velopper dans le charbon \u2013 ou Enel \u2013 qui pr\u00e9voit bien de sortir du charbon avant 2030 mais vend certaines centrales et en convertit d\u2019autres au gaz fossile. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Ces r\u00e9sultats r\u00e9v\u00e8lent ainsi les limites des d\u00e9marches d\u2019engagement, qu\u2019elles soient men\u00e9es individuellement ou \u00e0 travers des initiatives collectives telles que le Climate Action 100+ (6<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">)<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">. La moiti\u00e9 des entreprises de l\u2019analyse de Reclaim Finance sont \u00e9galement engag\u00e9es depuis 2017 par les centaines d\u2019investisseurs de cette initiative mais ne d\u00e9montrent pas de meilleurs r\u00e9sultats que les autres entreprises en termes de plans de sortie du charbon.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><div class=\"fusion-text fusion-text-5\"><blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span class=\"TextRun SCXW235765123 BCX0\" lang=\"FR-FR\" xml:lang=\"FR-FR\" data-contrast=\"auto\"><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW235765123 BCX0\">\u00ab\u202f<em>Un nombre croissant d\u2019acteurs financiers est prompt \u00e0 refuser l\u2019exclusion au motif d\u2019engager les entreprises pour les pousser \u00e0 se transformer mais force est de constater que les grandes d\u00e9marches collectives d\u2019engagement n\u2019ont pas produit de r\u00e9sultats concluants, faute de demandes suffisamment pr\u00e9cises \u2013 notamment concernant l\u2019imp\u00e9ratif de ne pas revendre ou convertir les centrales \u2013 et de perspectives de sanctions.
