Drought in South America, floods in Australia, the year 2022 is already marked by numerous extreme climatic events of a rare intensity. It is with heavy losses that the world&rsquo;s largest reinsurers, including Munich Re, Swiss Re, Hannover Re and SCOR, are meeting today at the <em>Rendez-Vous de Septembre<\/em> in Monte Carlo to begin negotiations on their future contracts.
