A new analysis by Reclaim Finance shows that major French banks continued to finance problematic coal companies in 2024. Despite their public commitments to turn their backs on the sector, BNP Paribas, Cr\u00e9dit Agricole, Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 G\u00e9n\u00e9rale and BPCE\/Natixis financed three companies developing new thermal coal projects and 15 companies with no exit date from the sector, or whose exit dates are not aligned with climate science. A year after Reclaim Finance asked the Autorit\u00e9 des march\u00e9s financiers (AMF) to put an end to this greenwashing, it has still not taken up the issue.<\/p>\n<\/div>
