More than 20 researchers, economists, and NGOs, including Reclaim Finance and the French consumer association UFC Que Choisir, have sent an open letter to the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) calling for sanctions to stop greenwashing French saving accounts. According to Reclaim Finance reports, more than two-thirds of French funds with sustainability claims actually invest in companies developing new coal, oil, and gas projects. The signatories are asking the AMF to take measures, including excluding companies that falsely claim to be sustainable or green.
