Paris, 15 April 2022 – Two groups of climate-conscious investors have filed shareholder resolutions to be voted on at TotalEnergies’ upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 25 May 2022. These initiatives highlight the many flaws of the so-called “climate” plan on which the French company plans to consult its shareholders at the AGM. Reclaim Finance calls on investors to vote against all climate plans presented by companies when they are incomplete and incompatible with the climate emergency – as is the case with TotalEnergies’ plan, but also with ENGIE’s – and to support the climate resolutions filed by shareholders.
