More than two years after the launch of its reform, the French Ministry of the Economy and Finance has just published the new SRI label guidelines. One of the most welcome advances on the climate front is the exclusion of companies developing new upstream oil and gas production projects. Reclaim Finance calls on financial institutions to adopt similar minimum criteria for all their funds with sustainability claims, modulo taking into account the recommendations detailed in this article.
